What are the types of car batteries?
The difference between car batteries:
1、Nickel-cadmium battery (Ni-Cd) Voltage: 1.2V Life span: 500 times Discharge temperature: -20 degrees ~ 60 degrees Charging temperature: 0 degrees ~ 45 degrees Remarks: Stronger overcharge resistance.
2、Nickel-MH battery (Ni-MH) Voltage: 1.2V Life: 1000 times Discharge temperature: -10 degrees ~ 45 degrees Charging temperature: 10 degrees ~ 45 degrees.
3, lithium-ion battery (Li-lon) Voltage: 3.6V Life: 500 times Discharge temperature: -20 degrees ~ 60 degrees Charging temperature: 0 degrees ~ 45 degrees Note: weight 30% to 40% lighter than NiMH batteries, capacity higher than 60% NiMH batteries. But not resistant to overcharge, if overcharge will cause high temperature and damage the structure leading to explosion.
4, lithium polymer batteries (Li-polymer) Voltage: 3.7V Life: 500 times Discharge temperature: -20 degrees ~ 60 degrees Charging temperature: 0 degrees ~ 45 degrees Remarks: lithium improved, no battery liquid, but instead of polymer electrolyte, can be made into a variety of shapes, more stable than lithium batteries.
5, lead-acid batteries (Sealed) Voltage: 2V Life expectancy: 200-300 times Discharge temperature: 0 degrees ~ 45 degrees Charging temperature: 0 degrees ~ 45 degrees Remarks: is the general car battery (it is connected in series with six 2V into 12V), free of water battery life of up to 10 years, but the volume and weight is large.
